Mosi-Oa-Tunya Rottweilers does not run gimmick classes. Every program is designed around the Rottweiler’s original function as a working, guarding and utility dog — while remaining safe and stable in real family homes.
Our offerings are not generic “classes”. Each program is a structured pathway informed by genetics, temperament, working aptitude and the realities of modern family life.
Thoroughbred pairings selected on structure, nerve, temperament and purpose. Litters are planned, not produced on calendar cycles or hype.
Building clear-headed, obedient dogs through leadership, discipline and clarity — not chaos, bribes or confusion.
Preserving the Rottweiler as a true guarding and utility dog — strong, calm, responsive and reliable under genuine pressure.
Intentional socialisation inside real household life — teaching dogs to distinguish normal living from genuine threat.
We focus on long-term development, not quick tricks — foundations, adolescence, then adult maintenance, aligned with the dog’s maturity and purpose.
Puppy Foundations (8–20 weeks)
Early socialisation, environmental exposure, basic structure and confidence-building work — without overloading the nervous system.
Adolescent Structure (6–18 months)
Clear obedience, impulse control, boundaries with people and other dogs, and early introduction to working expectations where appropriate.
Adult Maintenance & Specialisation
Ongoing obedience, conditioning and — where suitable — focused work in guarding, protection or structured sport/utility tasks.
Visual progression from puppy foundations through adolescent structure to adult guardianship.
Mosi-Oa-Tunya Rottweilers is a research consortium — not just a kennel. Our working and show development is anchored by structured observation, trials and the research we conduct on the breed’s behaviour and performance.
Dogs are evaluated under genuine stress, not staged chaos — we are looking for courage without frantic instability, and power under control.
We uphold international Rottweiler standards — correct structure, movement, type and clear temperament that reflects the original function of the breed.
Our internal research — including our published paper — feeds back into how we evaluate nerves, stability and working capability across lines.
We are selective about who we work with. The process is built to protect the dog, the family and the breed — not to close a quick sale.
We discuss your experience, environment and goals. If a Mosi-Oa-Tunya Rottweiler or a specific program is not suitable, we will say so clearly.
Together we choose the right program — breeding, training, working or a combination. Expectations, time frames and responsibilities are defined upfront.
We stay engaged — guiding structure, leadership and adjustments as the dog matures. Our work is ongoing, not “once-off obedience”.
If you want a serious Rottweiler, you need a serious program. Share your reality, your goals and your limits — we’ll tell you which pathway actually makes sense, or if this breed is not the right fit for you.
