Frequently asked questions

What serious prospective owners usually ask us.

We’ve grouped the most common questions into themes: about our dogs, about health and temperament, about suitability for your home, and about our process as a working, research-driven kennel.

About our dogs & breeding philosophy

Understanding what we select for — and what we refuse to compromise on — will tell you a lot about the kind of Rottweiler you will get from us.

We treat the Rottweiler as a serious working breed, not a fashion item. Our decisions are guided by:

  • Documented bloodlines with proven working ability and stable temperaments.
  • Health considerations — hips, elbows and overall structural soundness.
  • A long-term breeding strategy, not “whoever is available” or what looks popular on social media.

We would rather say no to a litter than compromise the quality and purpose of our dogs.

Our ideal dog is balanced: clear-headed, confident and capable of real work, yet stable and predictable enough to live in a family environment with structure.

Some dogs will be more suited to intensive working roles (protection, sport, demanding security), while others will be better as serious family guardians. We place dogs according to temperament, drive and your actual lifestyle — not just what sounds nice on paper.

Not constantly — by design. We plan a limited number of litters per year, aligned to our long-term breeding goals and the capacity to raise puppies correctly.

If you need a “puppy today”, our kennel is probably not for you. If you’re prepared to wait for the right pairing and work with us through the process, then we are more aligned.

Health, temperament & suitability

A Rottweiler is not a starter dog. These answers will help you decide if this breed — and our dogs in particular — fit your reality.

A well-bred and correctly raised Rottweiler can be excellent with children — but not as a toy.

  • Children must be taught how to behave around the dog.
  • Adults must supervise, set rules and respect the dog’s boundaries.
  • We will be honest if we feel your home setup or expectations are not a good match for a working Rottweiler.

If you want a “soft pet” that can tolerate anything without structure, this is not the right breed.

We pay close attention to:

  • Hip and elbow health, overall structure and movement.
  • General robustness, stamina and recovery after work.
  • Temperament under pressure — a dog that falls apart mentally is as problematic as a dog with poor joints.

No breeder can guarantee perfection, but we actively manage risk instead of ignoring it.

It depends more on your mindset and discipline than on your experience alone.

If you are willing to:

  • Follow structure, rules and training guidance consistently.
  • Invest time and energy into exercise and engagement.
  • Take honest feedback about your environment and habits.

— then we can work with you. If you want a “switch on, switch off” dog with no effort, we recommend you reconsider this breed.

Process, pricing & reservations

We are transparent about how we select homes, how bookings work and what you can expect from us during and after placement.

In summary:

  • We start with a detailed consultation about your goals and environment.
  • If we are aligned, you may be placed on a waiting list for a specific planned pairing.
  • Once a litter is confirmed, we match puppies to homes based on temperament and suitability, not who paid first or shouted the loudest.

We can share current timelines and availability during a direct conversation rather than via a generic price list.

We are not just a “puppy outlet”. We offer or coordinate:

  • Guidance on raising and structuring your young dog.
  • Access to training options — obedience, development and working foundations depending on your goals.
  • Ongoing support and honest feedback as the dog matures.

A serious dog deserves a serious plan — we expect owners to engage with us, not disappear after collection.

Life happens. What we will not do is abandon the dog. If your circumstances change or you are genuinely overwhelmed:

  • Contact us immediately — do not dump, resell or neglect the dog.
  • We will discuss options for return, rehoming or structured support, depending on the case.

This is part of our commitment to the breed. Our dogs do not become “someone else’s problem” overnight.
